In my opinion, due to a lack of local governmental oversight, Florida Homeowner's Associations are given a proverbial license to kill; or at least a license to destroy the lives of residents who dare to challenge their unethical business practices.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI am an 87-year-old widow who has been entrenched legally in an untenable conflict with the Florida Pines Homeowner's Association and Aegis, their property managers. I'm writing this treatise to expose them and to warn future unsuspecting Florida Homeowners as to the unscrupulous business practices that these HOA's are capable of. These true events occurred to me over a period of three years from 2016 until 2019.
