Index to Marriages in the (Baltlimore) Sun, 1851-1860 - Paperback
$55.80
by Thomas L. Hollowak (Author)
Working from microfilm copies of "The Sun" newspaper, Mr. Hollowak has succeeded in unearthing a rich store of genealogical data, which, but for his efforts, likely would have remained buried, well out of reach of the average researcher. In total, something like 15,000 marriages are recorded. With the frequent mention of other names, mainly fathers of brides, we find that altogether approximately 35,000 persons are cited in the text. The entries are arranged alphabetically by bridegrooms' surnames. Following is the Family Index, an index to brides and all other persons mentioned in the text.
