This book gives my experience of what it was like to go through the process of changing my name legally in the United Kingdom. A name change can be carried out by any adult, at any time, and on a shoestring budget. A name change is simple and doesn't need to be drafted or witnessed by a professional as long as you follow the correct process and inform the right people and organisations. I go into some explanation as to why you want to steer clear of companies that will sell you titles and noble ranks. I also give you the basics on how to word a document and my approach on what new name and signature you could take if you can't decide. Many people up and down the land change their name every year; hopefully, this book will make you feel like you're not alone and if I've done it successfully, so can you.

I have also included sections for foreign nations who wish to change their names and those who live in Scotland and Northern Ireland, where local laws differ.
