I have a free student account with Wachovia and really enjoy the fact that I'm not being charged to keep my money there. The staff is always friendly and every Wachovia I've entered is clean and tiddy. I've been banking with them about 5 years and will continue to do business with them. The only problem I've had with them so far is that they charge a fee to transfer money from your savings into your checking to cover a check for an amount over the amount in your checking. Other banks I bank at do not charge this fee, so long as there is enough money to cover the check in the savings account. I haven't had any other problems with them.
