I've spent a lot of time at Dairy Queen as a customer this summer, and I have been favorably impressed. I usually prefer local ice cream stands and restaurants, but my son like Dairy Queen better, so we have been going there more often. The consistently high quality of the ice cream, in particular, has been a pleasure. The employees have also been very professional, despite it being only a "summer job" for them (our local Dairy Queen is closed in the winter). My guess is that next summer we'll go there almost exclusively.
