meal awareness

Is this correct and if so is there a time limit. I have employees that does not have a relief on one shift that is unable to take a meal break. They are allowed to eat and take bathroom breaks but unable to leave the property. I do pay them an additional hour per day of work and we have signed an agreement stating they may have to work through meal periods and if they were willing to waive their right to take a meal break.
