Well I used to work for The Home Depot for 4 years and for the first two or so years it went alright for the most part. Many coworkers and managers came and went and every time we got new management it got worse and worse. I know that it's hard for a large corporation to keep its management team in order, but when they sent us a store manager who had previously been demoted from that position for inappropriate interoffice relations with an department manager. He was in another store at the time and the woman transferred to our store. It was a year or so later and he gets re-promoted to our store too. Corporate management should have seen this as a potential problem and thought better of it, which happened to be the case. It's one thing to quietly date as single coworkers, but both are married with kids and were really obvious about it. In addition to this several employees were fired by him for similar infractions. Such nonsense! This is not the least of the things that were wrong with the store in which I worked. So sad because it was once (before my time) a great company.
